WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY SOUND CARD?

hey guys just got a pci ibm sound card. I already have an existing onboard (no flaming) sound card. do I and if I do then how do I disable the onboard sound card and install the new one?

You should be able to disable the onboard sound in the bios.

Or there might be a jumper on the board to disable it. Check your manual (or the .pdf on a CD for the computer or motherboard) for directions. Failing that, check the website.
