Do you have a Seagate or other SATA drive installed? SATA drives are hot swappable because that is part of the SATA protcol. My Raptor also shows up as this
Please search; this gets asked weekly (and this is about the third time this week). SATA2 controllers that support hot-swap (like the ones on the NForce4 chipset) show the drives as 'removable' devices in Windows. Because they *are* removable.
