Looks like a Fetzer Valve.


You need more ballbearings.




Perhaps more cowbell, too.

hmm....the mice that power your car somehow figured out how to disconnect the drive gear....


but really, maybe try putting that muffler bearing back on. Midas can do it pretty cheap.:D

we had the PERFECT chance to pull the classic flux capacitor trick.... bah... oh well... if someone could find the thread in those auto forums, it would be great... :D
 

That looks like a synchronizer ring from a manual tranny, most likely it is a sprocket from a bike, gathering that it was not covered in oil or 90W gear oil, you can assume it did not come from your vehicle.

Where the hell did UberDave go?

The tool holder drive ring in the spindle nose of a vertical maching center I used to work on, looked a lot like that. Difference is, the teeth were on the ID. Otherwise, if that's about 3" or 4" diameter, it's identical in every other way.
