This "thing" has been there since Friday.

I have a conspiray theorist friend who says its the base of some "scalar weaponry" like a "tesla howitzer" or something, and the fact that it hasn't moved in a few days is kinda odd...

anyway, Check it out , and if you want to wait for it to load press play and watch how it hasn't moved (relative location wise, i realize the dots move around in the circle)

i wanna know what it is!! I think there's one over Minot North Dakota too, and there's an air force base there...

Looks like noise to me. Something close to the radar scrambling the signal, maybe the antenna is too low to the ground?

being that the "dot" appears to be centered at the radar station, I'm going to side with compudog, and guess that it is just noise, the radar equipmet may be misconfigured or positioned incorrectly.

Jeez, it's simple background clutter - buildings, houses, etc. You see that over all cities. (even though many radar maps filter it out for you)

if it's buildings and houses, how do the dots move constantly? and i'm sure the radar goes out farther than the dot itself, so why doesn't it pick up the other houses and buildings?

The opinion of an old Navy radar tech.

It's just ground clutter. The radar is on a long range which means the gain is high. The stuff close to it will reflect some signal back.

Cause the Earth does this strange thing called curving. Radar signals do not.

It's called "ground clutter."

The gain is up too high on the radar.

You don't really think that I was serious do you?

If so, let me clarify: Just Joking [tm]

hint, so was I.

I read on a true conspiracy site that everyone knows that aluminum foil is not adequate shielding from the government's mind control rays. You have to use lead foil.

then wouldn't there be other spots with ground clutter elsewhere on the map? I don't see anything in the bordering states or elsewhere in indiana... also, towards the last few frames, the clouds seem to be moving around it as opposed to moving over it...

strange...
