Some of you guys need to stop taking everything so seriously. OP was pointing out a funny headline typo. It's a joke. Laugh every now and again!

and I got laid off last week

FUCK YOUR REPORT

nah, the report is not accurate at all. It does not take into account how many people stopped getting unemployment checks simply because they ran out of benefits. The more people who run out of benefits, the lower that number will get.

Lols not found.

IMMEDIATELY below the headline it clearly states 9.1 percent.

Also, its not the presidents job to make the economy work. The American public is supposed to do that.
Get rid of all the free handouts and make people solve their own fucking problems. Several generations of laziness is why so many people are ignorant of the basic functions of economics.

He does have the power to put tax laws in place so that there isn't so much uncertainty in the economy. No one wants to start a business.

Not really...the way it's going now, anything he proposes just gets shot down somewhere in congress and vice versa. The whole republican vs democratic thing is getting out of hand (it has for the past decade). It's no longer about what is good for the people, but what is good for each party and the individual at that seat. But that is what politics is, so we may have to accept it because it seems that the general populous thinks it does not matter because it's all the due to the president.
