What the hell is IExplore.exe ?

I just noticed this on my PC, IExplore.exe, it is not part of internet explorer, this was somehow installed on pc on aug, 29, 2003.

Anyone know what the hell it is ?

Edit: posted before your post had more info. Check version information if it isn't part of Internet Explorer. If it isn't in the internet explorer directory it can be deleted.

The last fesh install of win98se was 14 months ago.

This is NOT iexplore.exe, it's Iexplore.exe[/b] and has nothing to do with internet explorer, hey Chin, shove it up your ass

No, I have not updated IE lately, I'm going offline now to see if I can remove it

it's probably that, if it's in windows folder, i'd update defs and scan for vir's

iexplore.exe: a virus of the 3rd dimension, I recomment Mozilla Firebird to help with recovery.
