what the hell did MSN hijack me?

I get a MSN search instead of a error page not found. Does MSN do browser hijacks? How do I stop this?
I already have Spybot,Ad-Aware,AVG installed.

In your browser settings, uncheck the 'use msn search when can't find page' or whatever the option is. Annoying as hell.

Thats what I thought but I can't find the setting for that.

You just get on the internet? That's a default IE setting.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Search from Address Bar > When Searching > check Do not search from Address Bar

If you use IE, it is your OS.

Use a decent browser instead.

Internet Options, probably in the advanced tab (at work, the relevant tab is missing from my IE here). There's a long list of checkboxes, and one of them controls this.

Thanks everyone (Except RagingBITCH btw perfect name.) but I checked the boxes you guys said and it still does it and I can't stand it. SO I'm going to mozilla.
