What the hell Comcast?

That looks like "The TV Guide" channel we have on Cox. All that channel is is a add channel with automatically scrolling channel listings.
Since I have digital Cable I have access to a different programming guide I can view from any channel and still watch that channel. It has given a whole new way to channel surf. 😀

I'm about to drop cox for Dish though. They are increasing their rates by 2 almost 3 bucks next year. The good new is I thing Verizion will have FOIS here soon. I saw markings on the street.

Do you have a DVR box from comcast? If you do, then it probably hasn't hit your area... yet.

that or they do use new england for a test area quite often. So maybe just an e-mail on the feedback section of their .net website and if enough people do it they will listen and get rid of them.

 
I love the idea of paying up the ass for a service only to have adds shoved in my face. :|

Good thing we have a another cable TV choice.....oh wait, no we don't because it's the Comcastoply everywhere now. :roll:
 
The new ads just rolled out in Central PA. I do plan to call and complain. I doubt it will do much but I plead that anyone of you that have the ads show up call and complain as well.
You never know, it might help.
Got this from the Comcast forums...
"According to the drone I spoke to at Comcast customer support, they are currently "test marketing" this new idea (yet again) to see how many people will complain. There is no option for turning this off, so if you want to use the supposedly "free" TV guide feature you will now be forced to pay for it, by watching their ads. They will not disclose the names and addresses of the people who have made this decision in order to complain. Apparently they are not interested in any feedback from their customers and are only keeping score of how many people call the service line to complain."
