So I'm going through my inbox this morning and I see an email with my area code so I decide that even though its likely junk mail I'll open it anyway. This is what I received.

Indeed, traffic light living with pee on umbrella around.Unlike so many toothaches who have made their nearest industrial complex to us.Sometimes bartender beyond microscope earns frequent flier miles, but CEO from rattlesnake always find subtle faults with hole puncher around snow!Heidi, the friend of Heidi and laughs out loud with marzipan about pocket. But they need to remember how secretly for prime minister dies.girl give a pink slip to for bubble bath.

I have no idea what that message means, what are they even trying to sell? Wierd!!!

😕

I replied in a spam thread about these things...

Even spam is becoming garbled text just to try to avoid filters. What exactly do they hope to accomplish by sending it out anyway ? What do they have to possibly gain ??? Can't understand half of it even if you are interested...

It would make an interesting poll to see how many think that that could be one of Moonbeam's posts.

There was a link but since I'm at work I did'nt want to take a chance. It could have been a link to leather bound gay hobbit sex or something equallly tasteful.

/me does search on Moonbeam

like someone else have mentioned in another thread, this is the spammer's method to skew the bayesian spam filter.

i believe these are just 'test rockets' to check

a) if the randomly generated email hits a valid account
b) if the ISP's spam filter accepts or rejects the message

Perhaps they are sending this stuff out ... not only to see what will pass the filter... but also to see how many of these emails get bounced back... those that are bounced back, get crossed off the spam list of valid email addresses.

??? Dunno, just a thought ???
🙂

Are you using a text-only email reader? There might have been an image in the email you didn't see.
