I don't like the current ending either.

But that reminds me of the ending of "An American Werewolf in Paris",

the US version ending sucks, but the French version ending rocks.

This is the alternate ending, it's on the Reigon 2 DVD. Spoilers below (duh)










Jim dies while in the hospital while the women try and save him. Cut to the house in the country, and the woman Jim's age is talking to "someone" about procreation and the need to reproduce (the "someone" ends up being a chicken). The plane flies over and the scene is essentially the same as the American ending, just no Jim.

I've also heard there's another one showing Jim dying in the hospital intercut with scenes of the accident that put him in the coma to begin with. I'm guessing the first one is the one they'll show after the credits

It IS true, I know people with the Reigon 2 DVD and thats what they said the ending was orignally. It was changed to make it appeal more to the american audience

If that is really the alternate ending, I would be one pissed-off guy if I had paid $9 to see it. I liked the movie but I can't imagine watching it again just for an alternate ending anyway.
