World Of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment's new MMORPG (if you ask what an MMORPG is, I'm going to reach through your computer screen and smack you). Certainly one of the biggest game releases of the year.

How's that rock you're living under?

I didn't buy it because of playing through Alpha/Beta. I realized I'd be done with the game before my free month was done (and I don't PVP, so there's no path for me on the PVE). Beta was fun, but it wasn't worth the $$ to buy, and then maintain a subscription for.

its a waste of money, im not paying 15 bucks a month for a pc game. sounds stupid to me, i hear the servers are packed onlne and blizzard isnt selling the game anymore, maybe if it was free and had a better mp system.

I don't see how it's a waste, especially if it's money and time spent having fun.

I second that, do the math, it costs 50 cents a day to play the game, for the fun the game provides, it's well worth it in my opinion, I too was reluctant at first to pay per month, but I think you're just over analyzing it, you're getting to play in a high quality, hack free, continually updated environment. (I don't know what servers you're hearing about, but i'm on Bleeding Hollow and Khadgar myself, and both are just wonderful) If you haven't tried it for yourself you truly are missing out :Q

its not a waste. everyone played EQ at one time or another, and THAT game was not worth it... sonys support was horrid.. esp if you were in a cutting edge guild and trying to beat the expansions AS YOU BETA TESTED THEM FOR SONY.

ahem..
anyway, we finally have a MMORPG from a good company. i trust blizzard and only blizzard to do a mmorpg.

Blizzard is an awesome company by every standard imaginable. It's just... you can ony make an MMORPG in certain ways. And they're all so incredibly boring after you run out of things to do. ;)

That's a jaded comment if I ever heard one.

I bet money you or your guild screwed up, and were pissed at Sony because you got caught.

Trust Blizzard all you want, they've screwed up several times since WoW launched. Seems that even with all these MMO's out in the market, they had a hard time paying attention and learning about what to do and what not to do.
