What the heck is this error message

Before the problem, a quick vent. I buy this stupid worthless ass Buffalo router for ONE reason, to do wireless work from home so I dont have to sit in the office till the ass crack of dawn. Worked FLAWLESS for about 2 weeks, now it keeps dropping.

That said, its probably an ID 10 T error, and I admit that. But I'm tired, and just had a disconnect.

Ok, Intel wireless troubleshooter says "EAP type rejected. The AAA server rejected the EAP method"

Now, this could very well be coming from our VPN setup but I'm not entirely sure because when I do lose access I lose ALL wireless access.

So first and foremost, what the hell does that error message mean? Is it related to the wireless connection to the router, or is it related to the VPN deciding to be a pain in my ass.

I'm not a Wireless Engineer, I'm a Translations engineer. Thats all a load of Greek to me.

Thanks AT.

Need much more info on all the pieces involved. EAP type rejected normally means the access point and radius server aren't configured for that EAP method.

Please provide details on the security used and if there is an authentication (RADIUS) server involved and the type/version.

-edit-
That's a wireless error coming from the client. It tried to authenticate to the access point and was denied. Nothing to do with VPN.
