When I try to run Tribes 2, I get an unhandled exception.
What the heck does this mean?

aye matey, the hardware had an exception and no level of the software was able to tame the mighty beast.

It's a programming error. Could be with any piece of software running on your machine at the time. Something went wrong in the program and there was no code to catch the problem (exception) so it was unhandled.

You need to apply the newest Tribes 2 patch, that specifically solves the error above. (Hopefully.)

It's not your fault, the (known) bug just slipped through Q&A at Sierra.

Get the patches here: http://www.sierra.com/support/technical/updates/ts_product_results/1,1812,1599,00.html

There should be some sort of Auto-Updater available for Tribes 2 (I don't own the game, personally.) Try looking in the Start menu under Sierra for a tool similar to 'Update'.

Good luck!

god you are dumb$hit

unhandled exeption means that the people who wrote tribes 2 didnt write an handler for a certain exception for instance filenot found or out of memory etc. the tribes2 programmers droped the ball.
