We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. Some files that you download will come with a .sfv file. This is used to verify that the files that you received are the same as the originals. cksfv is a program that can use the .sfv file to verify the downloaded files. Also, it can be used to create new .sfv files
Dedpuhl is on the money.... Basically it's a file that contains CRC values for a series of files. You can then use a program to calculate the CRC values for the files you've downloaded and compare them to the 'originals' to make sure no data corruption has ocurred.
Tsk tsk, downloading ISOs eh? 😉. Use a SFV checker and it checks the rars and sees if any are corrupted, if they are it will tell you which ones to redownload.
