Go Hokies!
I got my MS with Dr. Reifsneider

I am a construction Foreman for a general contractor full time. I build secure server solutions for small business for side work, along with a friend. We're trying to make a go of this business. I have worked in construction for 30 years, and I always end up as the network admin in some capacity because computers have always been my hobby.

Really hard to find a good conversation at work in regards to my other interests. Gamers are hard to find on the job site. I have A+, Network+,MCSE win2k, and an AA in construction technology. And studying for CCNA nights.

Student on the fast track to unemployment. About to declare Philosophy as concentration, perhaps a double major in either History or Sociology - all humanities, no money-making engineering or anything like that...

I used to have part-time jobs in web design, programming and computer support.

Now I'm concentrating most of my time into studies. I'm in 3rd year for my B.A. in Asian Studies, which I will now likely complete in 5 years after I go for an exchange to University of Washington next year and also do a second major in Psychology.

I plan to either get a Ph.D. in Asian Studies to research and teach, or go back to the IT industry as a program manager or a team management expert. Ideally, I want to work around 20 hours a week as a manager of a software team while I research/teac at a nearby college.

Right now I teach web design on a contract, part-time basis, and work as an assistant at the Centre for Korean Research at UBC.
