I haven't been able to use my computer for 3 days now. Thats 3 days without CS or SC or any of my more powerful rendering power. I'm using my laptop right now.

Recently, I was getting ready for school and I formatted my drives, created a 5gig FAT32 primary, 30gig FAT32 logical, and 10gig linux logical partition. Before this, I had win2k and it was more stable then my win98 but cost me a little performance. Now, though, I wanted the stability so I upgraded to win2k. Now, it froze and restarted on me like 15 times during the 2 days so I restarted, booted off 98cd and then I formatted C:. After that, I started setup and now I keep on getting a SUWIN error. It always happens. I tried using my SE cd, even my regular edition CD. I was desperate, and went and got my friend's copy. Always the same error. I booted to partition magic 6 and even repartitioned my entire HD - same problem.

I got this error on a win98 pc that had EZ-drive installed. Are you using EZ drive or another type of disk overlay program?

SUWIN errors mean that an error is occurring that is interfering with the Windows Setup program. There is a large page on the MS web site that lists possibilities.
