The above is just a sample. I have a friend who does this in every email he sends. He is guy I play TF2 with and is a nice guy but I have no idea why he does this.

(and from a word processor standpoint an ellipsis is separate punctuation and that's good because you don't want a line break in the middle of an ellipsis.)

i tend to use ... a lot also when typing.

Its more habit when a person does it.

But when i usually do it, i use it to mean that the point is not over and is ongoing, but i just don't want to get into it at the moment.
