It's 27 outside in the carport. Got a case of beer in the carport. No room in the fridge. How long can I leave it outside before it will freeze?

Freezing temperature decreases linearly with alcohol content. Thus better/stronger beer will be OK longer.

Most freezers are about 0F and I've had bud light in there a couple hours before slush formed. Granted we were drinking them and kept opening the freezer, but I bet if you are currently working on said case of beer - it'll be ok if you bring em in before you pass out.

Its complicated but 5% beer will probably freeze at 28, although it will take a while to get there. Just set it inside for now and put it outside a few hours before you need it cold.

I had some beer outside in a cooler, and the temps were in the low 20's. Only the bud light froze. The Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada did not freeze.
