What temp is normal for a CPU? Would U recommend mixing RAM?

I have a AMD 1ghz Thunderbird and was wondering what temperature I should try to maintain it at? Right now it hovers at about 109degrees. I was also wondering if it would be a good idea to put 128mb of pc100 RAM with 256mb of pc133. Any answers would be appreciated.
