Good lord, weather service says its 61 degrees outside.
This is too nice for Feb. BUT, weather service also claims snow and wind later this week.

Another month and I"m gonna take on some painting projects. I got about half of what I need.

Now 63. If I had some paint I probably could have done my project today.

It's 68F inside now, but it was only 59F when I got up. Circuit braker was tripped for some reason. It's 34F outside.

12C in here, 3C outside.
(Though by the wall clock thermometer directly over the monitor it's 17C here...but just realised that's a biased measurement! The other thermometer on the other side of the room says 12C - thanks Tory government, for doing absolutely nothing to help with heating bills, instead preferring to cut taxes for the better off)

Right now the physical temperature is 70 degrees, and I have my office ceiling light set at a 3400K temperature, plus plenty of natural light. Feeling good temperature wise here in my home office.

45° at the thermostat, 20° outside. Warmer in front of the stove where I'm sitting.

Brother, why is it so cold indoors where you are? Work?
I like it cool. Not that cool if I'm being honest, but it's fine. I try to heat 100% with wood, cause I get wood free, and it makes use of stuff that would otherwise turn to nothing. However, my house is long, so heat doesn't really make it's way to the other end of the house. The thermostat is set to 45° as an emergency fallback. It's halfway across the house. Temps are ~5° cooler in my bedroom, which is the farthest point at the other end.

It's kind of mix of pain and pleasure. I like having a mix of temperatures. Sleeping in cold is fantastic. My computer is near the stove, so it's warm, and I can go to other parts of the house to get some cool.

You know what's weird? When I go to take a shower, I feel coldest when I first strip down in my bedroom. I take a shower, and when it's shutoff, I think "whoa, chilly..." I then put on a towel, still mostly wet, and go into another room to brush my teeth, but I don't feel cold at that point. I'm mostly naked, wet, and in a 40° room, but feel fine. Not quite sure what's going on there.

Then it's bedtime, and the bed is cold. I shiver a little bit til I warm the blanket, and it's smooth sailing til morning. Get up and think "Brisk!", get dressed, and everything's great. I then either get ready for work, or build a fire if I'm staying home.

70f inside and 40f outside at 6am! Just made some coffee, I have a couple space heaters on, and the thermostat is set at 71f, and the central air/heat just kicked on.
