Brother, why is it so cold indoors where you are? Work?
I like it cool. Not that cool if I'm being honest, but it's fine. I try to heat 100% with wood, cause I get wood free, and it makes use of stuff that would otherwise turn to nothing. However, my house is long, so heat doesn't really make it's way to the other end of the house. The thermostat is set to 45° as an emergency fallback. It's halfway across the house. Temps are ~5° cooler in my bedroom, which is the farthest point at the other end.
It's kind of mix of pain and pleasure. I like having a mix of temperatures. Sleeping in cold is fantastic. My computer is near the stove, so it's warm, and I can go to other parts of the house to get some cool.
You know what's weird? When I go to take a shower, I feel coldest when I first strip down in my bedroom. I take a shower, and when it's shutoff, I think "whoa, chilly..." I then put on a towel, still mostly wet, and go into another room to brush my teeth, but I don't feel cold at that point. I'm mostly naked, wet, and in a 40° room, but feel fine. Not quite sure what's going on there.
Then it's bedtime, and the bed is cold. I shiver a little bit til I warm the blanket, and it's smooth sailing til morning. Get up and think "Brisk!", get dressed, and everything's great. I then either get ready for work, or build a fire if I'm staying home.
