84f inside, about 86f outside

It was 90 in the house a few days ago, miserable. Bad, 30 year old AC units, and super crazy high southern california energy rates and lousy district pricing schemes FTL. Too expensive to run the AC, and even without running it power bills are >$150.

Was 17C in the house this morning. I gave in, and fired up the furnace. We had some nice days in September that made me forget summer was even over but now it's time to get back to reality, it is September after all.

This is actually a good streak, I've used it in August before. We had a half decent nice week at the start of September. House was going down by 1-2 degrees for past few days though as it got cooler out. Has not hit freezing yet but mostly single or low double digits. It's 9C right now.

Should probably get the snow tires on and put up Christmas lights. Like to do that when there's no snow, it's just easier.

That sucks. Women wear too much clothing when it's cold.
- I am thoroughly enjoying this summer.

Humbug on the lights, LOL. 65f outside here we had more rain off an on today,
71f inside, I have a couple windows open to let the air cool off for free.

65F, 18.3c inside 39F, 3.8c outside. Just had a smoke and I'm freezing my ass off here! Summer came and went.

Heat goes on next month.

9C outside right now, not sure the temp in the office here at work but in my house it's 18.5C. Actually not bad considering I ripped out my patio door the other day lol. I put a plastic over for now and some plywood so the cat does not try to go outside. Getting a new one installed soon, it's ordered.

We're actually having a decent end of summer so far, it's been in 20's and above till yesterday and I figured that was the end, but looking at the forecast the rain is going to stop and it's going to be in 20's again. Maybe we're actually having the mythical "indian summer" that people sometimes talk about. I'm just hoping this holds up at least till I get the new patio door installed.

About 22C here at work, outside it's 0C according to weather channel. It's been warm this September, this is one of few nights where it's at freezing point.

At home I still have plastic where my patio door goes as I'm waiting for new one to come in, so it's going to get cold fast in the house. 18.5 °C in the living room right now. Was 20ish earlier today.

Same in my work office now
Outside is now -2
My living room at home is now 16.8.

Going to call my contractor today to get a better idea of when my new patio door and front window are coming in. If it's still a few more weeks it might be worth insulating the opening better.

I noticed it was 69 deg. F in my apartment when I left for work (currently 52 deg. F outside). That's a little chilly; I'd say perfect for me is about 72 deg. F. But I'm a cheapskate and hate to turn on the heat. I'll probably leave the heat off until it drops to like 67 deg.

Well we're finally seeing days with highs in the 80s and high 70s. Right now it's early so it's 72 outside and 72 inside. Massive improvement, but I can't wait until it's in the 50s outside every day.
