I'm interested in getting some, but there seems to be great disagreement online about whether or not they're comfortable, so I want to try them myself. Are there any big chain stores that carry them so I could try them out? and are there any places in the Sac, CA area that you know of that carry them?

my experience is that most (if not all) headphones are comfortable enough. people who complain about comfort are either (a) deformed, or (b) wear their headphones so much that they have a permanent imprint on their ears from their headphones.

buy em, you'll like em. (and if you like bass, get the sr-80 or the beyerdynamic dt770's)

Check your yellow pages and call various higher-end audio shops. I found a few shops around here (SE lower Michigan) that carry them. As has been said consider going with the SR-80s if you've got the extra $15 or so.

Fantastic fuggin' cans btw.

I wan't to get some too, except that they're almost impossible to find in Canada. I know of one hi end audio shop that carry's them near me, but they cost $150 CDN. Too much for me. Maybe I should just go and listen to them anyways.

I heard that you can easily bend the metal headband slightly to improve comfort.
