Boxing? You guys fail to remember that boxing is a worldwide sport. And the successful boxers are hardly all black.

I didnt say all those were white dominated (only hockey)... I merely pointed out that they were not black dominated.

One of the best players in the NHL at the moment is Black. Jerome Ignila of the Calgary Flames.
and also one of the worst... Georges Laraque. (Sorry Meltdown ;) ) He's one big mean-lookin' dude though.

ALL... except swimming, diving, and gymnastics. And that is only because most african americans won't consider it.

Exclude Long distance running if you are only talking about African Americans and not Africans as well.

Gold medal in the 400m at the Olympics. I'd say that's pretty fast.
http://images.google.com/images?num=100...remy%20Wariner&btnG=Search&sa=N&tab=wi

He is the first white man to win gold at 400m since Viktor Markin in 1980, and the first white American man to win a medal of any kind in the sprints (400 m and under) since Michael Larrabee won the 400 in 1964. However, Wariner doesn't see himself as representing a particular group or race, but rather view it as the culmination of individual hardwork and great coaching.

Wariner also won the 400m at the 2005 United States Track & Field Championships with a time of 44.20.

i dont think it really has to do with race more than lifdestyle...eg...basketball is dominated by urban blacks because thats where the roots of the sport are...in the suburbs people can play any sport but in inner cities, basketball is usually the only sport thats accessible to the majority.

I see sprinting as an option, but caucasians are quickly catching up in short events. Jeremy Wariner has run under 44 seconds in the 400m and is one of the leading quarter-milers and he's white. Kenyans and Ethiopians dominate at distance running right now. No one can come close in marathons. There simply are no fast white marathoners right now (except for the women with Paula Radcliffe).
