What speed is the Lite-On branded CDR that comes with the Lite-On 40x burner?

Today I installed my new CDRW. It's the Lite-On 40 x 12 x 48 CDRW. It comes with a blank CDRW (12x) and a CDR. The CDR says on the packaging:

" Professional Multi-Speed 80Min/700mb CDR"

My, how descriptive!

I opened it up and even looked at the CDR itself, looking for some kind of cryptic markings, you know? There are a bunch of numbers printed on the hub, but nothing (IMO) that would give away the speed rating.

What speed is this thing rated for? Common sense wants to say it's a 40x disc, being that 48x CDR's dont' exist yet (AFAIK) what's the dealio? Thaks.

Thanks, Adul. Wow...burning at 40x! Quite a step up from my 12x Imation. BTW, Nero is SUCH a better burning program than EZ-CD creator ever could be. 🙂
