What speakers.... anyone??

Hey,

I am just wondering. My sister loves music on her computer but she has cheapie $9 labtec speakers lol. She has no room for a deluxe 4.1, 5.1 or even 6.1 speaker system... i mean she doesn't need something like that.

Is there a good sub $100 preferred 2.1 speaker system (2 satallites/speakers & subwoofer)

I mean I am utterly confused with all these companies, I myself have Boston Acoustics BA7500 system on my computer, but like I said she would have no use for all those speakers.

So anyone with some good recommendations. She listens mostly to MP3s such as Rap & HipHop and to state it in her words "she loves the bass" so its got to have good quality bass & treble .

Labtec Pulse 424.

I would actually reccommend my Altec Lansing ACS340 speakers...but they're OEM (Dell) and may be hard to find. Got mine at a computer show from some dude for $40.

So 2 different speakers. How are the sound of both of them, clear and crisp? Also does it use a standard connector or digital connector. My sister has a Soundblaster Live Value (not the 5.1 release)

Both of the ones I suggested are analog.

The Labtec speakers have weaker satellites, but more bass in comparison.

The Altec Lansing ones sound better overall, but like I said I don't think they readily available. And they may be more expensive.

labtec pulse 424. They are great speakers for like $40.

I'll have a look around, any chance I might get them through dell directly as acccesories... i have a dell computer somewhere still under warrently lol

I have the pulse 424's and i must say, for the price, they are hard to beat!
