I own an ipod, zune, and phone. So I have used all 3 major sources and find I prefer Amazon for a variety of reasons not the least of which being very cheap.

I need something I can legally burn to a CD. I also like the convenience of the amazon cloud so I can access my music anywhere.

I use Zune Pass to get most of my music. Unlimited downloads + streaming from everything in their catalog PLUS 10 song purchase credits/month (in MP3 format) for $14.99. It kicks ass.

If it's something I can't find on there I'll just buy the CD and rip the MP3s myself.

XM or the radio. I don't buy a lot of music. I'll buy physical albums off Amazon. If I go digital, it's iTunes. Really the only option in Canada.

If I can't burn it then it is effectively useless since my car wouldn't have access.

I am pleased with the results of the poll otherwise.

Never heard of Spotify. The problem with itunes, amazon, etc, is if you lose the songs for whatever reason, you have to re-pay to download them again.

Will never buy songs from these sources unless i can download them again at a later time without any penalty.
