Just curious what sound effects you all have on your computers? I used to have Mega Man sound effects, but am looking for some fresh ideas. I was considering trying to locate some star wars effects to create a theme, but chewbacca's "whaararrgh" gets old after a while.

I don't like sound effects. Speaking of which, is there away to get rid of the clicking sound in IE?

You mean for Windows? None. I hate sound schemes. I have a few .wav files of weird stuff on my drive, but I hardly ever listen to them.

The default ones?

I don't have much sound effects, except for the tune when I start up the comp.

Go into the CP, sounds, and choose "no sound scheme"

Much thanks ;) .. you'd think I would be able to figure that out on my own.

None on my windows machine. I hate them, they're annoying. I have the defaults on my mac, but that's caue there's basically only the startup sound and empty trash sound. Whoever came up with the idea to paly a sound for every damn mouseclick was an idiot.

I think a few well placed sound effects are cool, I have the star wars Jawa "Tji-dji" when I get an instant message, if get annoyed, I simply turn them off the speakers for a bit.

I take it you don't lsiten to music on your PC. I remember when I was living in the dorms you'd ofen hear music playing pretty loud somewwhere down the hall, only to be interrupted by the new IM sound from AIM.
