Just curious, how does SOAD sound anything like Linkin Park? IMO there's no comparison......

No, the System of a Down songs that I've heard don't sound like Linkin Park. I have the Hybrid Theory CD, which I like quite a bit.

The problem is, and I'll even go ahead and assume what Astaroth33 was getting at, is that when you turn on an "alternative" station, you get 98 songs that sound the same, and 2 decent ones. It's kind of like a Green Day CD except on a genre scale.

Counting Crows new single "oh! oh! oh! oh!" 😛 so far down from "Perfect Blue Buildings."
Sheryl Crow "Soak Up the Sun" -- I'm not a fan, but this is lame without the catchiness of her usual pop pap.

I was disappointed in the new Concrete Blonde and Heather Nova CDs at first but decided I like them after a few more listens.

Anything Death Metal/Speed Metal/Sludge Rock/whatever. If it's got the guttural incomprehensible voice of someone wafting through lame power chords, forget it. Most NuMetal hits me the same way too. I just don't have enough "angst" left in my system anymore, I don't really care if the lead singers Dad didn't pay attention to him enough as a kid...

I'm all for heavier music and such, as long as its saying something to me. And not much of them do...

Personal reasons? "Mexico" by James Taylor. They play this on the muzak system once a day at work, and I can't stand it. Reminds me of the one that got away...🙁

Yellow - Coldplay. I used to like it, but it reminds me of this one girl, and I have no interest in remembering her. I used to like it

There's plenty that I can't stand, but thats the one that stands out

Epiphany - Staind.

Would somebody please give Aaron Lewis a gun so he can just end his miserable existance. I swear this guy makes Curt Cobain look like a happy camper.

[edit]ANYTHING by Def Leoppard or however TF you spell it.

I cannot stand rap especially that booming bass crap that people in their cars seem to enjoy sharing with anyone within 200 yards of their car.

Anything by Limp Bizkit.

Some rap. As a rule, I dislike all rap, but some of it is actually quite tolerable, as long as it has actual words. The ones that go "uh uh... yeah uh! what, what.. uh!" make me want to stab myself in the eye with a pen or something.

Anything w/ J. Ho...er, J. Lo

Everyone who knows me, knows the station must be changed when it's on.....
