What software to use for creating svcd?

I try nero to create svcd but it needs some software to put the file in svcd format first before it can burn to svcd. What software is needed to create svcd? Thanks,

WinOnCD 3.8PE and EZCD 5.0 Platinum both have the converters and codecs built in to convert the file to an mpeg-1 vcd compliant file. vcdhelper is a great site.

Use TMPGEnc to encode to Mpeg2, and then Nero to burn to a SVCD

Also, around August, Nero is supposed to release the internal mpeg-2 compressor, if it works as well as their internal mpeg-1 compressor (works great for creating VCD from mpeg-1 and AVI files) SVCD creation will be as easy as dropping your mpeg-1or2, or AVI files into Nero...yea baby!
