What software to monitor system/cpu temp?

I hear everyone saying their system is this temp and that temp. What software are you using to monitor this? Only place I can get that is if I go into the BIOS while booting.

i think the most common program everyone uses is motherboard monitor

there's a program called VCool that only works with some mobos (i lost the link, sorry) which is ok, motherboard monitor is what i use along with a program called CoolMon to display the temp and all that on my desktop

i use mbprobe...it's a simpler interface...go search for it...
