What SNL cast member did the best after leaving the show?

Sluggo

Lifer
Which SNL cast member do you think did the best with their career after leaving the show?

I only put in the most obvious ones, if you feel someone has been left out I will add them.

Damn lot of folks have been on SNL  Some of the list were only featured, meaning they werent on every episode, but are still listed as cast members.

That's a tough one. Sandler has done pretty well for himself but then again so has Ferrell. Farley also did pretty well for the short time before he passed away. And I am a huge Chevy Chase fan. So hard to decide.

I never knew Ben Stiller was on SNL.
I picked him. He isn't my favorite but he's in every movie.

Mike Myers is probably my favorite.

May not be "correct" but the poll is up and I damn sure am not editing it 😛

BTW, who voted for Anthony Michael Hall?? Stand up and take your punishment.

I'd say Bill Murray is the only one of the bunch whose brand of humor has stood the test of time and is recognized as a pretty good actor to boot (I'm sure someone will step in to disagree with me within 3 posts).

As for most successful, Mike Myers or Adam Sandler.

Bill Murray, hes the only guy still getting top billing for movie work. (will ferrel hasn't been around long enough to count)

Mike Meyers has probably made the most money with Adam Sandler close behind.

Lot of talent comes out of that show.

Sandler, Murphy and Myers probably gets the most per movie. Sandler has a production company which produces a lot of comedies in addition to his 15-20 million a movie. Mike Myers is executive producer on the Austin Powers movies with a lot of back-end $$. Murphy stars in a lot fmily comedies that grosses well but he isn't a producer on a lot of stuff. So I would say Sandler is the most commerically successful.
