What size wire does this amp need?

on the 2nd page it has a list of wire guagings by model....is that for the ground, or the power? or botH?

Go 4 Gauge and you cannot go wrong. There is no problem with having too MUCH cable to allow signal to travel

you can't really go wrong with 4, but which model are you referring to

the General Tech specs are:

4-105A
6-80A
8-60A

and for 3-wire cables

4-70A
6-55A
8-40A

Both, you typically want to use the same gauge wire for both ground and power.

4 guage is a safe bet. Always match your ground guage to your power guage.

Here's a useful tip: don't buy an amp kit. Buy your wire at a local welding supply shop. And then buy a fuse holder and connectors separately. You'll save tons of money. My local welding supply shop has 4 gauge cable for $0.67/ft. I was able to buy 20 feet of 4 gauge, 10 feet of 2 gauge (for doing a 'big 3' upgrade) and a fuse holder for under $30.
