What Size Shoe Do You Wear? And Where Do I Get BIG Shoes?

I'm not like a skinny nerd. I'm an athletic guy, and I am only 15. I am already wearing a size 14 shoe! Where do I get BIG ones? What size do you wear?

Well you're clearly not a nerd. Any self respecting nerd would be smart enough to figure out where to buy big shoes.

hint: you might need to head over to the nearest circus.

Zappos.com 😀 I wear a size 14/15 as well. They have everything on that website. Not so lucky when I was your age.

I wear 14 as well and it is a pain in the ass. Most store stop carrying any decent stock after size 12 or 13. Also, shoes that look good in size 9 tend to look a lot different in 14. Best bet is a place like DSW (a big, open store with almost all their stock on the floor.) Its a lot easier to browse these stores when you don't have to keep asking "Do you have these in size 14?"

If you can't find a store like this then go browsing and browsing and browsing. My wife actually hates going shoe shopping with me. Imagine that! When you find a pair you like in your size, buy 2 pairs - or buy their one size 14 and ask to special order another one

I hate buying shoes on line unless I've tried them on first. You never know for sure what they feel like. But then I am picky about my shoes - comes from having worked in a shoe store for 4 years.

Funny side note: We did a lot of business with the military (Bates footwear). I had a box come through that had a size 10 and a size 12 sticker on it. I thought I would open it up and see which size it actually was. Well, it was a size 22 for a guy at Annapolis! I could put my size 14 shoe IN IT!

I repackaged it and put a big "+" sign between the size 10 and size 12

I don;t have long feet...I have wide feet...(Flintstone feet) and wear a FF, which is about the same as 4E. Needless to say, I'm hard to fit as well, unless I want to wear something about 2-3 sizes too long in order to get the width.

I can vouch for this company, as they make my workboots:
http://www.whitesboots.com/index.php

All the White's brand shoes/boots are hand made, and can be custom made to fit your feet.
In addition to work and "dress" boots, they make a VERY nice walking shoe.
None of them are cheap, but quality never is.

These ones I found using google:

http://www.bigshoes.com

http://www.largefeet.com/

http://www.2bigfeet.com

I wear a size 14 as well. I never buy online because I have never had good luck on fitting. Usually I pick the first pair of 14s I can find. Style is overrated 😛

Well, I've worn the same pair of Dr. Martins for the last 7 years, so I don't worry much about trying on shoes. Same sandals too for probably the last 5-6. As far as athletic shoes go, nobody carries my size so I haven't test drove a pair of shoes before buying since middle school.
