I need to order about 55 shirts for a college organization and need to come up with an estimate of what sizes to get. This college group is about 2/3's male. Right now I'm thinking:

X-Large - 12
Large - 23
Medium - 22
Small - 8

How does that look? Any thoughts?

Thanks.

People like their T-shirts big. I'd get very few mediums and smalls. Buy mostly XL, followed by L and just a couple Ss and Ms

Well, you can, but then Jerboy will be hitting on you...

Don't forget about the ladies, guys. They don't like baggy shirts, imo, so you will need enough mediums/smalls for them.

I'd say change Medium to 15 and Large to 30 and you're good to go.

Depends on the organization. Is this a jogging club or a role-playing nerd club? That'll dictate what sizes you need.

I'm 18 and I wear the kids medium's from belk...Occasionally when I want to look really buff :> I usually wear an undershirt, to tone down or upscale certain clothes I have.

I usually wear medium & large adults.

32 inch waist, tshirts are usually XL as my shoulders are too damn wide :) Sometimes large fits too..

yeah, nobody is medium , and unless you know for sure they aren't a bunch of fat guys, then get more XXL , many people like big shirts, NOBODY likes a shirt that is too small, you can't wear a shirt that is too small

Has anyone noticed that shirts seem to be made smaller these days? I wont lie that I have gained about 15 pounds in the last year or so but I know that there is no way I suddenly gained so much weight that I am now wearing 4X compared to 1X a year ago.

What are you guys talking about? Not everyone is a gargantuous monster! I was part of an organization where we made club t-shirts and we ran out of mediums. Have enough mediums and depending on the dominant gender populating your organization, buy smalls and XLs accordingly.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going to go with:

X-Large - 13
Large - 26
Medium - 16
Small - 11
