what size psu?

Not all 350watt power supplies are alike....You want a good power supply that is recommended by Amd at their site. You want a power supply that has a good amount of amps on the 5v and 3.3v rails....

You can't go wrong with these tried and true...

1) Enermax
2) Antec
3) Sparkle

I use to have them for most of my tbird systems...they were cheaper then the other 2 but never let me down in the ocing part. I had several chips I oc'd and that power supply did it with little or no draw on the rails....

Look into it...How high and hard are you going to push that 1700+???? I would look at the big amd ocers and see their opinions for power supplies and ocing the tbreds...

get a fortron 350W (same thing as sparkle) for only 38 at www.directron.com

or you can get an allied true power or something 450W (i think) from newegg for $43

both these are EXCELLENT psu... they have good total 3.3 and 5volt rails + they only fluctuate less than ~1% as compared to the standard of 5%

Allied 450-watt is very strong and sports 12v and 3.3v adjustable pots.

You could also get the 400W version that frequently dips to sub $30 on newegg.
