What size netbook for 1366×768 screen?

i have a 10.1" 1024 x 600 netbook. i want more resolution. i have dual 1920x1080 monitors for my desktop, and my 17" laptop is 1900x1200.

i just cant get used to 1024 x 600. but there are MANY times where a 17" laptop isnt as convenient as a netbook.

what size screen for 1366×768 if i want to match the same size characters as 10.1" 1024 x 600?

Somewhere in the 11.6 - 13.3 range.

My UL30A has a 13.3" 1366x768 screen. It's just about perfect for the size; 12" might be more suitable for someone used to higher resolution, smaller physical size screens (22" 1920x1080, for example).

If you could manage to get your hands on it, Gigabyte T1028X has 1366x768 in a 10.1" screen.

Edit: never mind, misread your request. Here are some calculated numbers based on geometry.

Column 1 = diagonal in inches
Column 2 = diagonal in pixels
Column 3 = vertical pixels
Column 4 = horizontal pixels in 16:10
Column 5 = horizontal pixels in 16:9

Based on analysis the closest to what you want would fall between 12" and 13". The numbers aren't so nice because 1024x600 has an AR of 1.71 so the diagonal pixels will be a little off.

OP is asking about NETbook screen size, not notebook. Currently, the largest NETBOOK screen available is 12.1. Live or die with that or buy a NOTEbook.

was going to buy a 11.6" 1366 x 768 during Black Friday for like ~$250, then read the new generation of Netbooks coming out early next year will be about double the performance of current Atom processors.

last year 9" was the standard. for 2009, it's 10". hopefully next year 11.6" 1366 x 768 will be standard, along with $199 price tags

whats the next size up to 1366 x 768? 1600 x 900? it looks like that needs a 14.5" screen, which is definitely Notebook territory.
