What size memory stick would you recommend for a PSP?

I plan on using it for playing NES/SNES games and some PSP gaming. Doubtful for movies or music because I have an iPod and a laptop.

I say 2GB.

I saw on Bens Bargains today that you can get a 1GB from Amazon for $35 AR right now, so you may just want to get 2 of those.

Is the standard 32MB stick enough to play a single NES rom on? I don't feel like waiting a week to play with it while waiting on the bigger stick if the 32 will be enough until then.

you can get a 2 GB duo for around $60 after rebate now...

I have a 2 GB and four 1 GB duos (for my F828 camera and PSP), so I think I am okay:)

Any idea how big the hack is? I got lucky with a 1.5 PSP.

Also, where's the cheapest place to get the USB cable?

I have a 512MB, a 1GB, and the 32MB that came with it. Honestly, the 512MB would probably be enough for just emulated games unless you plan on carrying hundreds of NES/SNES games around with you at all times.

Get the 2gb. The price is reasonable and it's always good to have extra memory for songs and movies.

Is the PSP with 1.5 firmware valuable? I have one but barely use it since I got an iPod. I'm thinking about selling it

Cheapest place to get a usb cable for the psp is ebay by far.

I use mine for music and photos.
I just got 2GB, it's only $60 and well worth it.

Yes cause the newer firmware doesn't allow you to run homebrew.
