Yeah I decided to go with two 16GB cards for less than one 32GB card. Thanks. MacMall sells 16GB Class 10 UHS-1 for 8.99

That's a good deal and I would have done the same. With 2 cards you don't risk all your eggs in a single basket.

Do you have a link to that price? All I found was this for $9.99.

2 GB in my Nikon D50 (largest size it will accept). I want a new DSLR but no way can I afford one at this point.

I have a 16 GB in my Panasonic P&S.

Wow, I thought you were joking, because my D70s is happy with the 8 GB CF I feed it, but apparently, the D50 only supports FAT.

Maybe sell the D50 for the D70s, if memory size is your main concern? ;)

Memory isn't really a concern. With the max jpeg settings (no raw or NEF format) I can get 576 photos on the card.

It takes good photos, just want something with more modern and better features/specs.

I was looking at Ebay the other day to see what I might get for the D50 body and it looks like they're selling for under $100. that wouldn't help me buy a newer camera.

I wouldn't be bother spending good money to upgrade from DIGIC 4 to DIGIC 5 because there isn't enought improvement to warrant the costs, unless the OP need AF speed and is making money with the equipment. And, the other bonus is that the 50D is better than its younger sibblings when you use Magic Lantern http://www.eoshd.com/content/10770/canon-50d-magic-lantern-raw-review .

And, perhaps the OP might want to upgrade the firmware to newer version to take advantage of larger capacity and newer CF cards.

<--- Purchased Canon 5D mkII with less than 30 days before the 6D released but I couldn't be bothered to return the 5D II and wait for the 6D, because I don't think there isn't much of a different between DIGIC 4 & 5 to be a concern.

Its a Nikon D50 not a Canon 50d. The lower end models. There is no firmware for the D50. The d70s doesnt seem like much an improvement anyway.

I have a single 16GB card in my T5i. Based on the amount of shots I got in ~1GB, it looks like I could hold 650+ pictures, which I can never see doing in even one or two days. The only way I could see hitting that amount would be if I was on a longish vacation and wasn't removing the "definitely bad" shots immediately or moving them to a computer at the end of each day.

A couple 8GB cards for my 50D. One card takes ~350 RAW files. Filled them both this one time, but only because I was on a week-long trip with no access to a computer.

32 GB 95mb/s card to keep up with the framerate.

I get ~1K raw images. Enough for most outings. I have another 32 as backup.
