Hello,

Was wondering if any of you knew some good sites to look at to buy a used vehicle. Let me know! Thanks! Much appreciated. Any tips on buying a used vehicle would be great as well.

Yeah. I've tried cars.com, carmax, ebay, craigslist, emunds/autotrader... everybody seems to be pricing their cars way up. Anybody have some sort of guide on how much I can bargain buying a used vehicle?

Local paper has great listings in my experience. It's also by far the best place to sell a car; autotrader and craiglist are total sh*t to sell them, but you may do ok buying.

I'm looking for something about 10k or less. Somewhere in the 2000-2005 range of vehicles. I'm basing my findings mostly on reliability, fuel efficiency and utility . So far I've looked at the following:

Civic - Pretty expensive
Focus - Least expensive
Corolla - Expensive

It's a big step down because I'm currently driving a 2008 Lancer Evolution X but I'm aiming to cut expenses and to buy a house within a year or two, so I have to do this to save more money.

Anything below KBB really...and depending on what you can use as leverage...ie the car needs new tiers/brakes/scheduled maint.
