What single ATI Card is close to my SLI 7900GTs?

I'm looking to go away from SLI to a single card.

What ATI PCI-Express card is about equal to or just slightly slower than my two eVGA 7900GTs in SLI mode?

A X1900XTX is almost as good as two 7900GTs.

Those 7900GTs are faster then any ATI card, so your best bet is the fastest ATI card available an X1900XTX

Its true but 1 x1900xt is less of a hassle.
Get the cheapest x1900xt you can find and buy a heatsink for it. My card can OC to 700/1600, about.

Rumor says that ATI's next card, the R600, will be coming out around December.

The 7900GTs are ~15-20% faster overall than the X1900XT/XTX. It really depends on the games you play whether it would be a smart move or not. I switched from two 7800GTs@550/1300 to my current card and I'm pleased with the switch.

ATI has a refresh of the X100XTX, the X1950XTX coming out next month, and it should be closer to SLIed 7900GTs.

to oc the x1900xt you dont even need a aftermarket cooler, i got 685mhz core and 1640mhz ram....on the stock cooler with stock 3d voltages. with it topping out at 75-78C. but i do plan on adding some ac5, to see if temps drop a bit more....

No single card is going to touch 2 7900GT's. The only thing that comes close is the 7950GX2.
