Using the headboard as a point of reference, what side of the bed do you sleep on? Im on the right.
Ill bet most sleep on the right, especially men.

(This assumes your bed is large enough to have a right and left side.)

Right. I always have my back nearest the door.

When sleeping with gf, I prefer the left side of the bed as if I sleep on my side, it's the right side, and I like to face the outside of the bed as women have a tendency of rolling right up on you trying to smother you in your sleep.

They also have some instinct to somehow take the sheet and/or blanket, even if they are right up on you on your side of the bed. I usually wake up practically hanging off a queen sized bed. WTF is the wrong with them?

When alone I sleep wherever, and I get much better sleep.

Left, I actually slept on the right when I first moved in, and I just somehow transitioned to the left and now I'm used to it.

4 kids, all of whom started out as babies. So, as mom, I got the side closest to the baby's room. So that Mr. Head Of The Household could get a good night's sleep without being disturbed.

The wife takes the left. I don't care too much, but if I had to choose I'd take the right side anyway.

Left side because that's the side I "mount" the bed on, and the right side has a door to an uninsulated room next to it... Brrr...

Beds have sides?! I've got one word for you, bud: Sprawl. It's hell when someone else actually tries to SLEEP in a bed with me...

The wife sleeps closer to the door, which in this case puts me on the left side of the bed. It's an old habit from when the kids were babies and she'd have to get up in the middle of the night to feed them.

...although in our current house the bed is against the wall opposite the door, so it's only marginally "closer".

I have the same problem.... I'm going to start nailing the blanket to my side of the bed...

Assuming I'm looking at this right, standing and looking from the headboard down to the footboard, I sleep on the left side.
