Bill Maher - Out for the month
John Oliver - Out for ?
House of lies - Nothing new to 2016.

Anything half-decent that I dont know about? Freaking crying over here D:

Watch "how tv ruined your life": https://youtu.be/tNGK9ni4aSY

A comedic documentary series in which Charlie Brooker uses a mix of sketches and jaw-dropping archive footage to explore the gulf between real life and television.

edit: actually i forgot just how funny and true that shit is, so while i originally posted it to be cheeky, you'd probably actually like it (based on the shows you listed). I actually also watch all of that and am also finding it hard to unwind in the evening with nothing to watch now.

He also has a show very much like john oliver's called "weekly wipe," which is also brilliant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ-09V2czhU

You're desperate. No excuses.

Stuff you might have missed when it came out but was well received.

Watch the 6-part HBO documentary 'The Jinx - The Life and Times of Robert Durst'. It will blow your mind at the end.

Not Poldark. Holy shit is that a cheese fest. The villians are villainous, and the protagonist is virtually Jesus. Everyone is one dimensional, and the plot points are as thin as rice paper. It's a 12 year old girl's fantasy show.

It has 87 on Rotten Tomatoes. That's pretty good, right? That's unfathomable to me. It's like people are rating what it could be, not what it is.

I said older, last seasons thread is STILL being bumped from time to time. Doesn't qualify!

However, it's probably the best show in recent memory.

Ok, I consider it older when the entire series is finished and available for binge watching on Netflix.

But yes, if you haven't seen Breaking Bad, stop what you are doing, and go watch it now!

Orange is the New Black. I held off for the longest time thinking because I'm naturally averse to over-hyped and trendy, but it is absolutely fantastic, a real quality show. The more eps you watch, the more you'll admire its depth, the writing, the cast, and the fact that it never insults your intelligence. Plus Taylor Schilling just really does it for me.

Given the shows you mentioned in the OP, go check in again with Real Time with Bill Maher. He's still decent. Larry Wilmore's show can also be decent until he fills the second half with his B and C list guests and they blather.

Got Showtime? Ray Donovan is about to start up again. Mr Robot on USA network is pretty damn good. Married is an underrated comedy (imho) on FX that's starting up again soon, too.

I started watching Gravity Falls recently, and its pretty good. Actually surprised this is a kids show. The plots and jokes seems like its more for adults.
