as the topic says.... what do yall think I should upgrade/replace to get best bang for the buck?? please help
 
I agree. Not much to do there. If you absolutely must upgrade, sell your Athlon 64 3800+ and get an X2 3800+. You'll lose money, and you'll probably see a performance drop in some areas, but it should improve overall performance without spending too much.

But I don't recommend any upgrade at all, considering your current specs.

EDIT: At what clock speed are you running that 3800+?
 
Yeah, the only thing I would even consider doing is upgrading to 2 gigs of RAM, but I doubt that you would see a big increase in preformance.

Stock 2.4ghz
 
The only thing you can possibly upgrade is the video card. But really I dont think you should bother unless you find some game that is just hammering your system.
