Seriously, degrees called "Computer Science Technology" and "Mechanical Engineering Technology" are not rigorous degrees. Employers are gonna look at that and think that you didn't go to a real college.

Listen to this guy. When most people see an "Electrical Engineering Technology" degree, they assume that it's some watered down major.

oh wow, I just read all the religion stuff.

You seem prone to fail if you're worried about getting in to a religious school.

When did I say I was worried about getting in? I'm not.

Also, those who were saying that Letourneau's CS program sucks:

http://www.letu.edu/opencms/opencms/display_newsrelease.jsp?newsrelease=31

That link doesn't really say if Letourneau's CS program sucks or doesn't suck.

It says they sent students to an international programming contest- I think it's fair to say that it doesn't suck.

I was always a fairly reserved, level headed person. College didn't change that.

If you don't like math, CS may not be for you. I majored in CS and had to take all the standard stuff, (passed out of basic and intermediate Calc through AP exams) Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Discrete Math.

I'd advise you to go to whatever your flagship state university is. There'll be lots of majors to choose from, tons of beer, and crowds of cute girls :D

I've never been to college, and I don't know how I'll react in a prolonged situation like that. I'd rather play it safe at a Christian school than risk my soul at a secular one- I've seen and heard too many accounts of people losing faith in a situation like I just described. I don't want to end up like that.
