Something romantic, and useful

Ive made her a few gifts in the past (A clock, heart shaped, a heart shaped jewlery box)

Any ideas of what I could give / make her?

She loves the care bears (yeah pretty weird, but she goes crazy over em..) So I was thinking of making her a carebear cake, but I need something else to buy her... Ive given her necklaces, earings, clothes, etc etc..

I have no more ideas

Get her a t-shirt that says "BESTEST GF EVAR!!" on the front and "I'M BETTER THAN YOUR GF" on the back.

well, i took apart an old clock, and used that mechanism, but modded it into a wood heart I made...
Pretty neat,, took me well over a month, have about 20 layers of varnish on the damn thing! (with some kind of glitter mixed in the varnish to give some type of spark to it) She loved it :)

Rather than get something, do something special. Make candles together or something else fun. Cheap, and the memory is more precious than a gift. :)

One neat idea is to get a bunch of photos of the two of you and make duplicates (or get them printed if they're digital). Cut out some of the scenery and make a collage. Collage + frame = nice gift that she will definitely love.

P.S. - This works great for moms too. Make some duplicates of those old baby/kid photos. :)

uhh don't forget to find out what kind of vacuum cleaner she has, getting the wrong bags could be pretty embarassing.

any other 'do-together' ideas anyone could give me?

I love making stuff, would be fun to do something together with my gf...


MrChad: Thats a good idea too, but, shes always around, dont really think ill be able to sneak something like that past her,, and I wouldnt like doing it, ill make it a mess.. lol
