What should I get my girlfriend from Compusa!

I recommend against shopping Compusa for your GF.
how about taking her out to a fancy restaurant, or get her something with Diamonds or gold. Chicks dig Diamonds.

I don't know what kind of relationships you guys have been in but they don't seem very fun to me. the reason I even posted this thread was my girlfriend and I decided to get simple $30 or less gifts for eachother. Not all gifts have to be jewelery or remotly serious...theres a certain degree of fun in all relationships, it seems like you guys are missing out on that.

What diffrence does it make that I buy her something that she would like with cash or store credit - im buying it for her and i put the thought and effort into it.

At compUSA? You can get her to break up with you for buying gifts at compUSA.

She wants a gift from a computer store about as much as you want her to buy you jewelry.

Sounds like someones speaking from experiance? My girlfriend is not that shallow bud, I'll worry about my problems you worry about yours, its dosent always take sparkley things to get laid, but i guess you wouldn't know.

If it was fun you were shooting for...

Adult video store!

Genius!

does she even care about a .5?

if you must do something just take her out to dinner. dont mention the day, and let her figure it out, and then youll be all coy and romantic.

you dont want to celebrate/buy gifts all the time. women can be hard to shop for once youve bought all the things you know they like already.

What does your gf like?I mean how is everyone else supposed to know. Its not like there is much of a romantic choice at that store and its all going to come down to how much you know about her and what you think she would like from there.Posting this in atot you really should expect that kind of humor.

BRILLIANT!

The best gifts I've ever given a woman were ones that didn't cost (much) money to create or make. A thoughtful gift instead of The Sims 2 might be a better choice... buy some ink for your printer and photo paper and make her something neat... I made a photo collage for a girlfriend once and she still has it to this day even though we've been broken up for quite some time now.

this entire thread wreaks of BS.
who honestly thinks of getting their GF something from COMPUSA unless they specifically ask for it or if they are active gamers or computer enthusiasts?

You guys must have girls that have your nuts in vise locks if getting them gifts has to be from certain stores or jewlry.

If she is tech savvy, im sure she would appreciate anything you get her that doesnt suggest you bought it for her so you could use it. But to agree with the other people, if she is not tech savvy, dont get ther something from Comp USA to save a few bucks. Save the credit for yourself and spend some cash on your loved one.

Spending a little extra would allow you to get her an mp3 player or a bunch of dvds she really likes. If your girl loves you she really wont care, as long as some thought went into it.

I think the negative responses might be due to the way you worded your opening post, you (unintentionally, probably) sort of gave the impression you were trying to do the minimum possible for the anniversary.

Anyway, hope you find something fun for your gf and it all goes well. 🙂
