You're thinking of Paulaner Hefeweisen

Cider makes you think all beer is bland

That's like saying that Oreo cookies have ruined steak for you...

Go with Pearl vodka. IMO it is better thatn Grey Goose, at approx. %60 of the cost. Highly recommended.

All I drink anymore is vodka and club soda. It is a very clean, predictable drunk that leaves an absolute minimum of a hangover. (Completely unklike Jager. I have 9 stitches in my face because of Jager.) Think about it: your body needs water to metabolize alcohol. Why use a sugary mixer (which will only dehydrate you further, and increase the hangover factor) to mask the taste of a poorly-refined spirit (which will also cause hangover)? IF you HAVE to be on the cheap, run the vodka through a Britta filter a dozen times and you have something completely flavorless and as smooth as water.

Edit: you -> your

I wish I could get Pearl Vodka. I had some a couple years ago when I was in San Diego, but I can't find it in MA. Loved it (Pearl and San Diego).

will i enjoy bombay sapphire?

i typically enjoy: Jaegermeister, Vodka.

dont really enjoy whiskey, and rum is meh to me...

everclear is fine, but expensive.

Have you had gin before? This is less medicine tasting than most gin, doesn't taste like you just performed oral on a pine tree knob.

He won't like the price tag of Bombay Saphire if he thinks Everclear is expensive.....
If you're tryin to drink on the cheap, Seagrams Dry Rum costs about $20 or less for a giant 1.75L bottle. Bombay Saphire is usually around $50 for a giant bottle.

everclear is expensive in terms of: it tastes like ass expensive.

a giant bottle for 50, makes me assume that a fifth of Bombay Sapphire is going to be about $30?? so $10 more than jaeger...

and no, ive never had Gin before.

Ahh Gotcha ... yea a fifth runs for under $30 here.
There's no way to know if you're going to like it or not without actually trying it.
Personally, I like my gin mixed with some tonic. I usually prefer a 1 to 1 ratio. Gin has a sort of sharp taste to it that people usually either love or hate. I would recommend trying a gin'n'tonic at a bar before you go off and buy a bottle of it at the liquor store. That way if you don't like it, you've only wasted 1 drink rather then an entire bottle. Jaeger is good stuff, and I don't drink Vodka so I can't comment on that.

Personally myself and my friends drink Smirnoff Triple distilled. You can get a 1.75 around here for under $20. It isn't grey goose but it definitely not rail. Doesn't give you a hangover either.

Personally I mix mine with cranberry. Everyone has their own mixing stuff.

Gin is nasty.
But then again, you obviously have poor taste since you don't like Jack, so you might love it :p

Parrot Bay coconut rum and Mountain Dew. Something different, quick, easy, and delicious, as long as you like coconut and Dew of course.
