One of the employee is abusing company resources. She came in on a weekend and printed over 500 pages of stuff and in the process caused a paper jam. Anyway, she didn't exactly finish with her print job but I don't think she noticed. The last 20 or so pages are copies of her resumes. Apparently, the last few copies of the resume didn't make it thru before the printer had a paper jam. If I report her to upper management, I am about 80% sure she'll get canned. I don't want to get her into trouble but at the same time I want her to know what she did is not tolerated.

At the ER i use to work at, when the paper bin is empty it would give that exact error. Of course, i always thought it was humerous.

Just videotape her doing it again, then copy your ass 100 times (make sure you get the hairy gooch) and then throw them on upper management's desk and say this is what you found, accompanied by the video of her at the copy machine waiting for more copies to come out.

Edit: If you don't want your ass to be seen, you could always do your penis. :Q

If your job would be greatly effected or it would cause substantial harm to the company or other employees, then report her. If not, mind your own buisiness and worry about doing the best at your own job.

Send her an email or phone message telling her that you found the rest of her "document" on the printer and she can come pick it up at your desk/cube/office. Then tell her when she comes to pick it up that you will give it to the boss next time it happens.

I do that all the time at work. I'm making over 10k/yr less than the regional average for my job position. I feel I'm entitled to a ream of paper now and again.

500 copies of her resume?

The IT people at my company are dicks, so I would recommend not being a dick about it.

Oh well, doesn't matter. She is getting canned. I got the news today, but the decision was made a week ago. Perhaps she knew about it already. Now it kinda makes me wonder what exactly she printed out.

Probably confidential papers that she will share with her next employer

Wait so you believe it wasn't her resume she copied? But you said you found copies of her resume.
