I have a friend, I?m pretty good friends with him, known him about 8 years?but the problem is when it comes to girls he?s VERY sketchy. He has a reputation not so much for STEALING girls from his friends, as it is sabotaging his friends chances with girls. A couple anecdotes that sum him up:
He?s driving me and him to a party a couple summers ago, I know the people there, he doesn?t. I tell him ?Go for any girl you want, except Meghan? (a girl I had dated a few times, and had invited me down). I make it VERY clear to him. Meg is SMASHED when we get there, and she tells us the drinks are inside. I go inside to get drinks, and I?m in the house LESS than 45 seconds. I step outside, and see my friend basically dragging the girl Meg into his convertible and peeling out of the driveway with her as they go I hear her say ?wait..you?re not matt (me)..where are we going??. He?s gone?.for AN HOUR AND A HALF. He comes back into the driveway eventually?sits there with her for like 20 seconds..and leaves AGAIN for 45 minutes. (to this day he claims nothing happened?pffft).
Friend meets this girl, ada, at summer session class. She has very hot friend, kate. My friend arranges for us to hang out with them. I hit it off quite well with girl kate. At the end of the night, the two girls leave my apartment, and me and my friend are just chillin. Ada calls up my friend and gives him kate?s number. My friend acts all confused?saying to me ?wait, I thought YOU hit it off with kate?why?d ada give me her #?. Kate leaves a month later to study abroad for a year. As soon as she?s gone, my friend calls and says ?oh yeah, ada was saying that I was supposed to give you kate?s number that night. Oops.?.
Now wtf should I do with this friend? These aren?t the only two incidents with him. It?s a constant stream of stuff like that. He ?hoards? girls too, like he?ll hang out with 3 or 4 girls, they?ll apparently ask if he has any guy friends to hang out with, and he?ll claim he has none, much to the chagrin of me and the rest of his friends. Seeing as how when the situations are reversed we always include him. I?m really at a loss for what to do with this guy, I?m way too old to have a friend sabotaging ****** like this.

mini update: Girl's back from france, I spoke to her last Monday, she's taking courses in another state, but we made plans to hang out when she's back in July
other update: I took the generally suggested course here, that didn't involve transvestites. I don't pick up when he calls, or reply when he IMs me...he'll take the hint eventually. le sigh
