what should I do with this domain name?

I'm thinking about trying to start a jobs site. Would be a pretty clever use of the domain and the extension. www.nowhiring.at/anandtech for example.

It creates a common language phrase "now hiring at walmart"

I don't like the pay for ads sites like Monster though, so was thinking about taking the craigslist approach. Pretty open ended, completely free, paid for via google ad words, etc. I think it would be easier to launch that way too, since I would just recommend making a listing and using the url and content you create to advertise elsewhere..

Any other ideas? I'm going to start coding on it here pretty soon.

Might want to start local/regional at first.

And if it's going to be free, you'll need a way to deal with scammers.

True. I'm from St. Louis, so I was going to try and get into that market first. I could get some newspaper and TV exposure pretty easily, and use myspace and google ads to get the word out.

Scammers? I would probably just review every ad that was listed until it got overwhelming. I'd use captcha's, etc to help curb spiders too. I guess I'd just have to give it a shot and deal with the problems as they come.

Mine, lol.

It is ranked #1 because most default installs, or people explaining things, use the term. So it has a gazillion links to it, all by accident. (No, there isn't anything on it besides the front page.)

I love the name though. 🙂
